After graduating from DeVry University of Technology with two degrees, I felt restless and not sure as to the type of job I wanted. So, I tried teaching English for a year in Taiwan. I had already traveled to different countries in the U.S. military, so it was easy. That was in 2003. I can easily say teaching English has been the BEST job I've had ... ever!

You might hear of different people naming what's on their Bucket List:

I can certainly delete the last two adventures from my list.

In addition to enjoying small pleasures: playing with young students, inspiring conversation with friends, I'd also like to reach the meditation goal of 1 hour. My Calisthenics exercising makes me feel 20 years old again.

I definitely ask myself "What would I like to do?" Then, I approach it with as much confidence as possible.

This course introduced me to what it is like to teach to students from different cultures. I had to get into the habit of speaking slower and more clearly to effectively improve my students English.
