I have a total of 18 months' experience teaching English as a foreign language. This includes teaching children and adults, both private and group lessons. I have also been the lead teacher on a weekend English course for adults in Guatemala.

I have 13 months' experience working as an editor for a leading graduate careers website. I have written lots of articles for the website and so my English expertise extend to writing. This means I have an excellent grasp of English grammar.

I am a qualified snowboard instructor and have worked as an instructor in Canada teaching students of all abilities. I developed a high level of patience with my students and bring this to my English teaching.

Interests: I am passionate about travelling and the power of being able to communicate in a foreign language. I learned to speak Spanish while living in Guatemala and this allowed me to have a much more authentic experience and to also make local friends.
