As part of my TESOL certificate I taught English to students in Thailand online using modern teaching methods, audio visual aids and activities to develop accuracy and fluency. I created every lesson with a clear objective.

Interests: I'm Mick, your friendly 29 year old Australian English teacher. I grew up close to the beach in south eastern Australia but ironically, I can't surf. I love the outdoors and have recently been lucky enough to travel to places like the Grand Canyon and Patagonia! I'm also a music lover and play the drums and guitar. I am currently living in Buenos Aires and learning Spanish, so I know the struggles of learning a new language!

I studied Teaching English as a Second Language at MCIE (Melbourne City Institute of Education) and completed the course in 2022. It was incredibly informative. I learnt how to teach reading, writing, speaking, listening and pronunciation skills.

For 3 years I studied Communication Design, including 1 semester in Germany.

Undergraduate Certificate in Science and the Environment
Environment
At Victoria University I studied ecology, biology, plants, animals, the relationship between these fields and humans' impact upon them.
