In 2010 I studied and practice taught in Quito Ecuador to become certified as a TESOL instructor. I always wanted to exercise that talent and training. Finally, my circumstances have allowed it.

Interests: I was raised on an Iowa farm in the United States. Agriculture was the backbone of my professional direction as I pursued financial services as a career. My degree in Agriculture Business and minor in English served me well as I became a lender, an insurance agent, a real estate agent, and a licensed investment agent. Later I put it all together as community bank president.

I've always been interested in many things. I learned to fly from bush pilots in Alaska. My love of horses brought me to the last mounted unit in the Army. Taekwondo taught me discipline. Volunteering as a fireman and emergency technician in the communities I served as a banker helped me to grow in ways I never imagined.

Now that I am retired, I want to continue growing. My love of flying has evolved into flight simulation, drone videography, and video editing. My background in aviation, fire and rescue helped me in training the first small town drone rescue team in Mexico. As a real estate agent I help people find their homes here in Chapala, Mexico.

My training and certification as a TESOL teacher in Quito Ecuador was the gateway to meet adventurous people like you online. Modern technologies have made it possible to interact and grow with people from all around the world. That technology will now bless you and me!
