I served in the United States Coast Guard for 20 years. As a machinery technician I was in charge of multiple types of machinery onboard ships. As part of my job I had many subordinates and was also a part of the Engineering Training Team.

Interests: I am new to teaching English but I have teaching experience from the military. I will write more in the 'work experience' section about my military experience. I love to meet new people from different cultures and learn about different places. Some of my hobbies and interests include: sailing, woodworking, metalworking, camping, music, art, religion, philosophy, and travel. I have been to most of the United States and also many countries, both for vacation and for work. I currently live in the country of Panama with my wife and 3 year old daughter.

In addition to military training I completed some college classes in writing and math during my time of service. I completed these classes through the American Military University.
