Interests: TEACHING: I love Teaching and I have been teaching English to primary school children and adults for 4 years online and 2 years in the classroom.
I understand the challenges and joys of learning a second language and the opportunities that arrive as a result! My goal is to identify areas for improvement, help with pronunciation, and make the class fun. The first class I find out what the student enjoys most and how to best help the student. Each student is different! EDUCATION: I have two bachelors degrees in Economics and International Affairs from George Mason University in Washington, D.C . I have a Masters Degree in International Affairs from University Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I also have a certificate in Graphic Design, and am a certified yoga instructor. I have the perspective that we should always be learning something new, and everything we learn is useful. Right now I am learning German at the A1 level at a language school. I am a student just like you, so I have lots of empathy for how difficult it can be to learn a new language. Some of my favorite things: I like music and I like to draw. These are tools that we can use for learning languages. I am in a choir and sing old Gregorian and old latin songs in cathedrals on the weekends. I am currently learning how to play the drums. My favorite animal is a chicken because I had a few chickens as a pet (not for eating). I like traveling and have lived in several countries where English was not the main spoken language. I love the ocean, the mountains, and hiking in nature. I will be doing the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I would like to do a triathlon so I often go swimming and running at a gym. I am currently changing careers, from economics to architecture and teaching is what I am doing in the interim.
