Interests: I studied Theology and Applied Administration at Impact College of Jacksonville and have been teaching English to both adults and children since 2013. I have experience with a variety of levels and ages, but work best with teens and adults of an intermediate or higher level. While completing a semester abroad in Costa Rica I joined a volunteer ESL class, fell in love with the program and completed my 160-hour TEFL Certification. During that time I had students from a wide range of backgrounds including high school students, housewives, lawyers, engineers, teachers, and musicians. From there, I returned home to the United States and have been having a wonderful time working as an instructor at a language learning institute for adults in Denver, CO. I am a native English speaker (U.S/Canada) and am also fluent in Spanish (Costa Rica). I am currently learning Igbo and Yoruba as it is my life-long goal to reach certified polyglot status. 😊
