Volunteer Assistant with regular Book Trust charity events in primary schools with children aged 6-11 with ESL requirements. Helped develop language & reading skills, guided reading, creative activities to engage & facilitate literacy.

Interests: I am an experienced tutor who is passionate about supporting students with their language skills development, whatever their nationality, culture or skill level. My cambly rating has been 99 % for my time as a cambly teacher !! It should increase again as I undertake more hours. I have many regular and returning students !

I have a wide ranging skill set including TEFL, CELTA and ESL student support experience, with both young & adult learners. I provide Business English , conversation, IELTS, Academic English alongside all the cambly courses. I have worked with many IELTS students.

Parents are welcome to share materials and games for young learners or children can bring books, toys or activities to the classroom for conversation. I have many teenage and young learners.

Students are welcome to read articles in class from Engoo Daily News, news websites or share their own work for discussion , corrections etc. I enjoy discussing research projects.

I enjoy meeting and talking with people other cultures, wherever I am in the world!
I enjoy a wide range of interests including creative and artistic activities, yoga, pilates, reiki, meditation and mindfulness. I enjoy nature and gardening, holistic therapies, self-improvement & Psychology, interior design, travel , culture, museums, Art, and music. I enjoy learning about Japanese culture as well as other cultures around the world. I have many different interests and hobbies and enjoy learning and discussing a variety of topics!

I have lived in Spain & taught English in Argentina to children and adults . I understand intermediate Spanish. I love to travel & experience different cultures. I love to converse with students and discuss their unique experiences and interests.
