Interests: Hello, everyone! As you can see, I am an English teacher from the United States of America. Let me tell you a little bit more about myself. I grew up in Atlanta-- the capital of the state of Georgia, in the United States. I first discovered my own love of languages on a family trip to Europe when I was nine years old; I thought it was amazing that there could be so many languages in the world! I went on to study French and German in high school, and as a university student I got my first taste of teaching when I worked as a foreign language tutor for my fellow students. I spent one year studying abroad in France, where I made so many wonderful memories and continued to learn about different cultures. When I graduated from university, I knew that I wanted to give teaching a try. There are many teachers in my family, and my mother encouraged me to give it a shot. I decided to teach English in South Korea for one year, and I fell in love with every aspect: the country, the culture, the language, but most importantly, the job. I discovered that teaching languages was my passion. Since then, I have lived and worked in places such as Taiwan, Italy, and Argentina, and I have gained so much teaching experience along the way. I am an avid language learner myself, so I understand exactly how my students feel, and I know what they need to succeed in their English learning. I hope to meet you all soon and share this learning journey with you-- let's get started!
