I have worked at this centre for the last five years. I love working with people of all different ages, nationalities and levels of English. I have developed a wide range of learning tools to teach English for business, academic and social needs.

After the Tsunami in Haiti, I travelled to this Caribbean island and did some volunteer work, teaching children who had no school to go to. It was this experience that made me determined to become a fully qualified English Language Teacher.

Interests: I'm from a famous seaside tourist town in the United Kingdom, where I lived with my family and helped in my father's business. I also gained two degrees and many other qualifications at top UK universities. In the UK I worked in many different hospitals as a Specialist in Biomechanics. I still use my medical skills to help people when they are in pain, but I've also always loved teaching. I even used to help the teachers teach the younger children when I was at school! I completed my English Language teaching qualifications in the UK, and I have taught in different countries - in the Caribbean, China and Egypt, for example.

I love everything to do with the sea: beach days, swimming, snorkelling, diving, surfing and going out on boats. I like growing fruit and vegetables in my garden; I also enjoy sewing and making things. I like to cook, but I love baking things like chocolate cake, brownies and bassbousa. I also love reading and watching movies and series - but only when I have the time!

I completed my TEFL qualification in the UK with a great teacher who taught me a huge amount of new skills. I learned about the difficulties of learning English as a foreign language, and the very best tools to help everyone improve their English.

My second degree, also gained in the UK. This is a very intense degree which also includes 1000 hours working in a hospital, so as well as medical knowledge I also learned many new skills such as time and stress management, plus organisation skills.

My first degree in the UK taught me many things about the science of sport, but also about how to run a business, including basic accounting, and other important topics about business in the leisure and tourism industry.
