MAIAM THE TEACHER

Profession: English teacher for all levels.

I've taught all levels of English learners from all around the world. I've also taught international English exams like the Cambridge checkpoints, IGCSE, O levels, IELTS, and the OET.

Interests: I've been working as an English teacher for around 11 years - both face-to-face and online. I grew up in Malaysia, and I've been around the world as part of the press and as an English teacher as well.

I'm a native English speaker, and I'm fluent in spoken Arabic because of my travels in the middle east and Northern Africa.

I joined the online teaching world a few years ago and taught online IELTS courses as well as American accent training for people who wanted to improve their overall pronunciation.




I came into teaching after a long period in the field of Mass Media and communications, where I used to be a Radio Production manager and a radio host. I started my teaching career by teaching in English centers in my free time and I fell in love with it.

I later made my way into teaching English, Economics, and Environmental Management in IGCSE schools where I taught both native English speakers, Americans, and Brits, as well as non-natives from all over the world.
