専門分野: English Teaching
Education
I have about 3 years of experience in private lessons, public school(elementary/middle/high) and at a conversation cafe. So I am well equipped with a range of teaching styles and experiences.
Takoyaki Bar
Hospitality and Tourism
Set in Nishinari(deep Osaka), this was probably my wildest job. Every night felt like a party. I had a lot of customers from both Japan and overseas and the store was very popular.
Entertainer
Performing Arts
I spent a couple of years working as an entertainer, doing firedance, jumping stilts and magic tricks.
Haunted House Amusement Park
Performing Arts
When I was working at the Haunted House, my job was to put on horror themed makeup and scare the cusomers.
Video Game Clerk
Retail
While I was at university, I worked in a video game store. Selling and recommending games and consoles.
興味: I grew up in both NZ and west coast Canada, my accent leans more towards Canadian and I try keep my dialect neutral. Though, I do have a good understanding of different countries spellings, accents, dialects and cultures. So if you have a preference let me know. In my free time, I like to do programming and am inspired by retro videogames.
I am a very creative person and like to do anything I can get my hands on; art, music(I'm good at playing the ocarina and I like to sing... badly), writing, theatre, film, clay, textiles and dance. But my passion is definitely programming, the ability to create something from just thought and logic is a beautiful gift.
I have been living in Japan for the last 3 years and can speak Japanese around the N2 level, so I understand the difficulty of learning a new language; and I congratulate you on taking the leap to improving yourself.
学歴: Bachelor of Computing and Mathimatical Sciences
Technology
I studied a BCMS, with a specialisation in Graphics and Multimedia. Although, there was a large focus on programming and logic; I also took a lot of classes in topics like theatre, film, games and music.
