For over 20 years I was the owner of a successful graphic design and sign company in the United States. In 2007 my family and I moved to Ecuador (South America) where I worked as a teacher, translator and tour guide.

Interests: I have extensive experience as a volunteer teacher with a well-known volunteer organization. I also have over 30 years experience as a public speaker in both English and Spanish. I have been married for over 30 years and have two adult children who are also teachers. I love mountain biking and reading about history and current events. I particuarly enjoy meeting new people and learning about their culture.
