Yvonne Parkins

Profession: I have been teaching Spanish to Beginners and Intermediate Students until the lockdown.

Interests: I enjoy cooking and swimming.
I write poetry and am in the process of getting my first children's book published.
I belong to a local Amateur Dramatic Group. I love acting. I have been in three productions so far and will be in the Pantomime in January 2024. I am really looking forward to it.

Education: I went to Grammar School and then to Teacher Training College where I studied Geography.
I obtained a Teaching Certificate.
I am qualified to teach Primary School children.
I have an RSA [Royal Society of Arts] Certificate in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I am also qualified to teach children with Dyslexia.
