I have a varied background as a Sergeant in the St Helena Police Force, as well as a Native English Tutor for aid organizations. Currently, I'm working as a Front end Developer and in my free time, I'm on Cambly.

Intereses: I'm excited to share my rather unconventional life journey with you! Growing up in Africa as a child of missionary parents gave me a unique perspective on life and an early appreciation for different cultures and languages. This multicultural background has shaped my approach to teaching and connecting with people from all walks of life.


My career path has been anything but ordinary. I started as a goldsmith, crafting precious metals into beautiful pieces, before following a calling to become a minister. Life then led me to serve as a police officer with the British Foreign Office, where I gained invaluable experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.


During the COVID pandemic, I reinvented myself once again, diving into the world of software development. I spent three rewarding years as a contracted developer, and along the way, I discovered my passion for teaching English as a second language (2020-2022). When I'm not coding or teaching, I channel my creativity into writing science fiction stories.


👨‍👧‍👦 On the personal side, I'm a proud father of two wonderful children - Hannah (12) and Ezra (9). We love going on family adventures, especially feeding ducks and swans in our local area.
