During his time in the military, Jay Scovel stumbled upon his first SLR camera at a pawn shop near Fort Knox, Kentucky. Little did he know that this fateful encounter would shape the course of his life.

Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to capture and preserve moments, Jay Scovel immersed himself in the art of photography. He honed his skills, experimented with different techniques, and developed a keen eye for composition and storytelling through imagery.

In the year 2000, Jay Scovel took a significant leap forward by establishing his very own Photography Studio in the vibrant city of Springfield, Missouri. Over the next 17 years, he turned his studio into a hub of creativity, capturing precious memories for countless clients and leaving an indelible mark on the local community.

However, Jay Scovel felt a calling to explore new horizons and share his knowledge with others. He embarked on a transformative journey and found himself in the bustling city of Bangkok, Thailand, where he currently reside as an English Teacher. With his patient and engaging teaching style, Jay Scovel imparts his wealth of experience and nurtures the next generation of language learners.

Not content with confining his creativity to the classroom, Jay Scovel has also ventured into the world of digital media. He serves as the charismatic host of a weekly Podcast and YouTube Channel. Through these platforms, Jay Scovel has built a loyal following.
