Profession: Education; middle school teacher (retired)

Interests: One of my interests is reading, especially mystery and suspense, but I enjoy other genres as well. I particularly enjoy all types of arts and crafts and love to design my own projects. Another passion of mine is traveling and I have been fortunate to travel extensively throughout the USA; I have visited all of the states except for Hawaii. My travel outside of the states is limited but I have been to parts of Mexico, Canada, and Costa Rica. Now that I am retired I hope to visit many other areas.

Education: I received a BS in elementary education from Carson Newman College in Tennessee. My MA in education, with a minor in sociology, was earned at Furman University in South Carolina.
