Intereses: I enjoy sailing, travel, golf, keeping up with current events, listening to foreign radio broadcasts and working on improving my French. I also ski, though I might be getting a bit old for that now. During my career I have traveled throughout much of Europe and some in the Middle East. I have really enjoyed those experiences. I most enjoy meeting and speaking with persons from other cultures. I am an adventurous eater. When I travel I try to seek out restaurants serving local cuisine. I follow sports such as American football, hockey, baseball and soccer. Barclay's Premier League games are televised here in the U.S. now!

Educación: I was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Summa Cum Laude, from The George Washington University in 1987.
